Here comes the debut album of the Texan four-piece THE BLIND OWLS, which follows up
their promising EP “The Blind Owls Say Goodbye”. These fab four mix Freakbeat,
Modsounds, 60s Rock'n'Roll and Garagerock in a catchy and fresh way that won't be
ignored!
“All Day And Night” is an all self-written album, giving you an authentic, wild sound that
is simply addictive!
The boys get you hooked right away with the first song “All Day & Night”, its wild guitar
and cool, energetic vocals and make sure you're gonna have a “Good Time” twisting and
shouting to their crazy hits such as “Squeeze me”. The Owls will give you fever not least
with their absolutely catchy song “Fever”, that has that fantastic Mod-attitude to it,
“Mystery Man” (which was also released as 45 as a foretaste of the LP) that blows your
mind with its wild 60s garage-beat, or finally “Doctor” that adds a screechy hammond
organ to a dark and wild Garagepunk-song that just sounds incredibly cool.
You find melodic harmonies, a cool bass, swinging guitar riffs, a great deal of early sixties
Merseybeat influence with a rough and fun Rock'n'roll approach and wild 60s Garagerock galore.
All in all the record takes your mind right back to the early/mid-sixties, leaves you in a
fabulous mood, singing and dancing along to your new favourite songs, longig to hear
more of these Texas-youngsters!
